TYRUR Mozzletoff became the fastest bitch to ever cover 525yds at Shelbourne Park when racing to a brilliant success in the final of the Christmas Oaks on Thursday night.

In victory she also ended a terrible run of luck for her owner PJ Fahy in bitch finals.

Remarkably Fahy had never won a bitch final in thirty previous attempts, but Tyrur Mozzletoff, who had run up the Irish Oaks earlier in the year, ended his drought with an historic display.
