Cabra Noel set to charge into Puppy Stake final

CABRA NOEL bids totighten his grip on the Comerford Cakes National Puppy Stake at Shelbourne Park tonight. Graham Holland’s charge was brilliant in the three earlier rounds and looks a banker in the second semi-final.

Razldazl Will looks the one to beat in the opening semi, although his task isn’t quite as straightforward. He has pace to burn, but is prone to leaving himself with too much to do from the second bend.

Tonight he faces his stiffest test with five early-pacers in opposition so it’s imperative Razldazl Will makes a better start than normal.

Paradise Martini looks the main threat.

Blessed with tremendous all-round pace, Cabra Noel looks certain to make all from a favourable draw in three. If he messes up, Ruthless Man and Hanover Laddie would be at the head of the queue to take advantage.

Graham Holland will be hoping Cabra Millie can repeat her opening round heroics in the Christmas Oaks.

The brilliant youngster takes on Priceless Spark for the second week running and their clash is the feature of the second round.

Cabra Millie will be favourite, but this one could be a very closely fought contest.

Tyrur Mozzletoff can improve on her opening round display to confirm her standing as the banker of the night.

The semi-finals of the Christmas Cracker Open 575 feature a number of Ireland’s fastest, but the second heat looks a bit special, with Martinstown Snow bidding to confirm his superiority over Broadstrand Lad and Tyrur Bobbyjo.

The trio met last week with Martinstown a hugely impressive scorer. Tonight Royal Patrol is thrown in for extra spice.
