The opening heat is the most competitive of the round. Ballybough Hawke went fastest of the sextet in the second round, but could have his work cut out here.
On the strength of the draw Paradise Martini could well start favourite.

At Thurles the semi-finals of the Track Bookmakers Champion Bitch Stake will be run. Incredibly, all four quarter final winners clash in the second heat.
Minefield and Clydal Spirit went fastest last week with both scoring in 29.07 and they could go very close again. However, Minefield has the better draw in trap two.
In the first heat Premium Quality makes most appeal.
