Rockview makes impact at Cork Sales

SIXTY-SIX of the 83 entries turned up at Cork Sales at Curraheen Park yesterday, where there was a 77% clearance.

The top price was €4,000, which Barryroe, Co. Cork agent Brendan Keohane laid out to secure Mrs. Betty Ryan’s Rockview Impact after the black had recorded 29.09 when a six lengths winner of his trial.

Swindonowner Kieran Sedgwick was very active in the ring, picking a few choice lots. He bid €2,900 to get Ms Rita Cregan’s Riversdale Spiros, who came from behind to card 29.07 when scoring by four lengths in his trial.
