Antix Beag gets back on track

AN opening day set-back now appears to be a passing headache for Anthony O’Leary and his team on Antix Beag after day two of the Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta.

Strong winds led to a dismasting on Thursday but a fast replacement brought the Crosshaven skipper back into the fray yesterday.

O’Leary has switched from his usual Class Zero Antix to the smaller but powerful converted 1720 Antix Beag that is prime contender in Class One racing under IRC.
