Irish knocked off top spot

IRELAND’S good start to the FEI Nations Cup League ended yesterday, when the team finished seventh in St Gallen, Switzerland.

Shane Sweetnam (Amaretto Darco) was Ireland’s best performer, notching up five faults and one fault in each round. Alexander Butler (Will Wimble) opened on four, but added 23 faults in round two. Jennifer Crooks (SF Uryadi) scored 8 and four, while Jessica Kürten (API Largo) opened with eight faults and followed with 13 for a team total of 35.Ireland now slip to second behind new league leaders the Netherlands.
