Sean Tobin (Clonmel AC) achieved the European Youth and World Youth qualification standards when he won the 3,000m B final in 8:33.51.
Another to impress was Daire Farrell (Carrick on Shannon AC) who won the B men’s 800m in 1:54.62, good enough to secure his passage to the European Youth Olympics.
