Spice looks right call
Graham Holland’s tracker is a class-act, numbering last year’s Munster Oaks at Waterford and the Puppy Oaks at Harolds Cross among her many triumphs.
Calling Spice lines up here on the back of a series of top drawer performances in the Kudos Supersprint, finishing third behind Yes Boss and Sheepwalk Mac in last weekend’s final.
Up against two of the top sprinters in the country last time, Calling Spice is back against her own sex tonight and should collect, provided she handles an inside draw.
The opening heat should mainly concern Razldazl Alice and Tyrur Tinkerbell.
The latter is running well but Razldazl Alice was an Oaks finalist last year and her class can see her through.
Likewise, Borna Del, beaten less than three and half lengths when fifth in the recent Limerick Oaks, may have the edge in class in heat three.
Fatboyz Dizzy, a semi-final casualty in the Limerick Oaks, should benefit from a switch to the inside in heat four.
