Meydan Series options for Splaine

IRELAND show jumping team manager Robert Splaine believes the nations cup in Wellington, Florida last weekend provided him with a couple of combinations for his Meydan Series assault later this year.

The team of Darragh Kenny (Gael Force, 8-4), Jennifer Crooks (SF Uryadi, 10-4), Paul O’Shea (Realman, 9) and Shane Sweetnam (Rolette, 4-8) shared third place with Britain and Australia on 37 faults.

“My job was to observe the riders with the Meydan in mind. In particular, Shane and Jennifer were encouraging and I would be hopeful that they will join us in Europe this year,” said Splaine.
