Okee can lay down early marker

TOOK THE OKEE can lay down an early marker when the Guinness Trophy swings into action at Curraheen Park tonight evening.

The selection produced a series of cracking efforts en route to finishing fourth to Tyrur Enda in the Laurels final over this course and distance last October.

It was a shade disappointing that Took The Okee failed to get his head in front in six subsequent starts last term, but there was plenty of like about his first run of the year at Tralee recently.
