Harlequins hit the road as Banbridge lie in wait

ALL five of Munster’s Irish Hockey League representatives need to collect points this weekend, if they are to harbour realistic semi-final ambitions.

The quintet all lost in the opening round last month, putting emphasised importance on this weekend’s clashes.

In the men’s Pool B, Cork Harlequins hit the road for the first of two trips to Banbridge – who they also face away in the Irish Senior Cup – in quick succession, and they will hope David Eakins is still in goalscoring mode after his five strikes against Cork C of I B last week.
