Kelleher looking to build on perfect start

PAUL KELLEHER could hardly have hoped for better after stepping into the role of the head coach with his club, UCC Demons.

Last weekend the club that launched his basketball career gave the Irishunder-age coach the perfect start when they tipped off the new season with a 93-84 victory over Ulster Elks.

Kelleher took over his new role with a wealth of experience behind him. Not only had he had coached atinternational level with the Irish under-age teams but he had served Demons well as assistant to some of the top coaches in the league and played an important role in all of his club’srecent successes.
