LEWIS HAMILTON is hoping the dark clouds hanging over McLaren disappear this weekend and he is not left hankering for more California sunshine.

After a fun-filled holiday in the United States, described by the 25-year-old as “the kind of break I’ve needed for many years”, it was back to business yesterday.

But there was little blue sky to cheer Hamilton in the first practice session ahead of tomorrow’s Belgian Grand Prix as it was run under heavy rain and leaden skies.
