Jimmy looks the real deal
Early pace is this youngster’s forte as attested by two particularly impressive early splits in the previous rounds of this competition.
He certainly cannot afford to miss the kick as the rival on his immediate inner, Free Shaw, is known to move off on the approach to the bend.
However, that’s not really a big concern as, on all known form, Jimmy should have the pace to clear the entire field on the run to the turn.
Some doubts about his stamina have been mooted, but he has time to develop that aspect of his racing and Michelle Murphy’s pup should return victorious at the expense of Johnny Hickey’s Fear Gorm.
