Cuban prospects top all-star fight night at Neptune

THE three unbeaten Cubans – all former world junior champions – who have based themselves in Cork will parade their talents before the ‘home’ crowd once again on the Yanjing Beer Fight Night, scheduled for Neptune Stadium on June 26.

Alexei Acosta (10-0 with 10 KOs), Luis Garcia, (6-0 with 4 KOs) and Mike Perez (10-0 with 8 KOs) will be joined by unbeaten Irish prospects Andy Murray (19-0 with 10 KOs), Willie ‘Big Bang’ Casey (8-0 with 5 KOs) and Cork’s own Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan (10-0 with 6 KOs) on a night of ‘The Undefeated’ as all six put their unbeaten records on the line.

“This is a night not to be missed,” said promoter, Brian Peters. “It’s a great line-up and what this event is about is bringing entertaining, fan friendly, value-for-money nights of boxing to Cork.
