Here comes the sun for surfers

The Outlook: The weekend ahead will be cold but mainly sunny. Tomorrow will see temperatures get no higher than 8°C and icy conditions can be expected either side of the midday sun.

It should remain dry for most of the country and the winds will be slightly gusty and have a bite in them as they come from a northerly direction.

Sunday will see more in the line of cloud cover. Again temperatures will be low but as the day moves on expect thickening cloud cover and maybe some snow on high grounds. By Sunday night the cloud cover builds, the winds veer southerly and the rains come for the rest of the weekend.
