Broad brilliant as England take upper hand on Aussies

ENGLAND bowling hero Stuart Broad played down his own contribution after the home side moved into a dominant position against Australia in the decisive fifth Test at The Oval, yesterday.

Broad took five quick wickets as England bowled Australia out for 160 – ripping through the batting order after the tourists had at one stage been 73 without loss.

Spinner Graeme Swann also took four wickets, and England – needing to win – reached 59 for three at stumps on day two, for an overall lead of 230.
