Glory delights Murtagh in gallop

AIDAN O’Brien’s Irish Derby hero Fame And Glory delighted stable jockey Johnny Murtagh in a racecourse gallop at Leopardstown on Thursday.

The Montjeu colt has only once tasted defeat from six career starts, that coming at the hands of John Oxx’s brilliant charge Sea The Stars in the Investec Derby at Epsom in June.

Fame And Glory soon regained the winning thread with an impressive display in the Irish equivalent, and a rematch with his Epsom conqueror in the Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes on September 5 looks to be on the cards.
