Gosden happy with Rainbow View’s Guineas preparation

ANTE-POST favourite Rainbow View stepped up her preparations for the stanjames.com 1000 Guineas when working on the Rowley Mile racecourse in Newmarket yesterday morning.

John Gosden’s unbeaten filly was given her first outing on the track since scoring in Group One company last September, and covered six and a half furlongs under big-race pilot Jimmy Fortune.

She moved upsides stable companion Decorum coming out of the dip and finished half a length ahead of the fellow three-year-old, who is also owned by American George Strawbridge.
