BRIAN Meehan is unlikely to make any decision on the likely reappearance date of Derby favourite Crowded House until after next week’s Craven meeting at Newmarket.

The son of Rainbow Quest won two of his four starts as a juvenile culminating in a hugely impressive Group One victory in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster.

Meehan has said his he will start off in either the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket or the Dante Stakes at York, but is in no rush to make any firm plans for the exciting colt.
