Harrington happy to let others hog the limelight

PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON admits he has been happy to continue his US Masters preparation without the glare of media attention as Ireland’s other sporting successes dominate the headlines.

Harrington returned to Ireland to practice last week, and the 37-year-old said he is grateful to be out of the spotlight for once as the country savours the exploits of its rugby team and boxing hero Bernard Dunne.

The emergence of Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy and the return to action of Tiger Woods has also helped in that regard.
