King Kauto strikes Gold again

KAUTO STAR didn’t just win yesterday’s totesport Cheltenham Gold Cu p, he absolutely overwhelmed the opposition with a display of jumping and staying power which was simply breathtaking.

In doing so he became the first horse to regain the Cup and, in the process, literally sent Ruby Walsh’s career into orbit.

By any standards Walsh is an extraordinary rider, perhaps even the greatest National Hunt pilot who has ever lived.
