McKiernan has a Plan for Cheltenham

FOLLOW The Plan heads a likely Cheltenham Festival team of three from Oliver McKiernan’s County Dublin stable.

The Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy hopeful is both owned and trained by McKiernan, a builder who took out a permit to train in 1998.

His ex-pointer was third in the Irish Arkle on heavy ground at Leopardstown having previously got the better of Tatenen in the Durkan New Homes Novices Chase at the same course on St Stephen's Day.
