Tralee IT reward young sport starswith scholarships

THIRTY students from 14 sporting disciplines were awarded scholarships by the Institute of Technology, Tralee (ITT) this week.

The Institute’s Scholarship Programme has significantly expanded with the Sports Scholarship event involving the presentation of IT, Tralee Sports Scholarships, CLG Munster Council Bursaries, Kennedy Coaches Sports Scholarship and the Kerry Local Sports Partnership Scholarship.

IT Tralee President Michael Carmody said: “Today is recognition of the hard work these young sports stars have put in over the years to complement their talents. The Scholarships highlight the Institute’s commitment to encouraging excellence in sport.”
