Polly looks the business

THE fast-improving Raparee Polly looks the business in the Tote Retention Novice 700, one of two finals at Youghal tonight.

Having swept though a 570 stake at Thurles last month unbeaten, Raparee Polly continued on an upward curve last week, recording a clear-cut 39.58 success.

As that was her first spin at this circuit she has scope for further improvement and should prove a tough nut to crack.

Broadstrand Boy, none too clever at the break when beaten by the minimum margin by Barryroe Spud in 39.91 last week, is also likely to progress and reads the main danger.
