Classy White ton puts Irish in command

White batted beautifully, easing the ball through the leg-side for the majority of his 14 boundaries, and was 109 not out from 144 balls when Ireland declared on 326 for six.

The advantage of positive scoring was rammed home in the final hour by captain Kyle McCallan who produced an unlikely run out from mid-on and then took wickets with successive balls to leave a weak Canada side reeling at 31 for three.
