€5.5m offer for Lantinus turned down

DENIS LYNCH will saddle up his Qatar Global Champions Tour winner (GCT) Lantinus for the Samsung Nations Cup Super League opener in La Baule, France on May 8-11.

The German-based Tipperary rider made good on an invitation to the GCT competition in the Qatar capital Doha last Saturday to claim the top prize of €100,000 against 37 of the sport’s top exponents.

Now, he hopes to help Ireland get off to a good start in the Super League following promotion from the second division.
