Holland strikes again as Da Colonel does da business!

The favourite eased past Cyclers Jet early in the back straight and was in no danger afterwards en route to a four length success over Compass Rose in 28.79.

The rest of the card was dominated by Blarney trainer John Linehan, who recorded a treble on the night.

He kicked off in the opener with Knockrour Linden who led early in the back straight and had little trouble in seeing off Compass Rebecca in 28.95.

The middle leg of the treble was Ace Top in the second heat of the O’Riordan Brothers Tarmacadam Stakes.

The winner made all for a two and a half length success over Swerve in 30.38.

Linehan, the champion trainer at the track for 2007, rounded the night in style when Light Shift took the second semi-final of the Ballintore Brave Stake.

The winner took over from Whitty Annies at halfway and then had enough in reserve to hold off the strong finishing Tyrur Paris by half a length in 28.90.
