Chapter reads a good bet

IT can pay to follow the bang-in-form Chapter Four in the SuperValu Hollyhill 750 Stakes at tonight’s benefit meeting at Curraheen Park, in aid of Na Piarsaigh GAA Club.

The selection is a terrific servant to owner Michael Murphy, boasting a strike-rate of 14 wins from 41 starts, including four from his last five.

Chapter Four displayed all the right qualities when scoring over this trip last month, overcoming traffic problem to justify favouritism in 42.60.

Better drawn on the rails tonight (he ran from trap four last week), Chapter Four should take a deal of beating.

The improving Lowertown Mike can land the Ford Drive Stakes. The selection is unbeaten in two starts over this course and distance, posting 31.47 and 31.92 efforts last month.

This represents another step up in class but Lowertown Mike is clearly going the right way and can prove equal to the task.

Ullid Pee Jay and Droopys Anthony, the winners of 17 races between them, head the list of dangers.
