Lose against Derby and it will be time to panic

LAST WEEK I mentioned that anything more than a point at the weekend would have been a good result. I forgot to mention that we’d be happy conceding less than seven goals as well.

Saturday’s result makes our next fixture (Derby County at the Stadium of Light) on Saturday a must win game. A draw is as good as a defeat; such is the need to get maximum points to take us away from the relegation zone, where we now find ourselves for the first time this season.

Losing in the way we did at Goodison Park will have been demoralising; Roy Keane now faces his biggest managerial task to date trying to make everyone within the club put the Everton debacle behind them.
