Show King set to make amends

SHOW KING, a beaten favourite in the semis, can make amends in the Old Belle A2 Stakes final at Curraheen Park tonight.

The selection started odds-on to complete a hat-trick last week but could only finish third behind Everyonewantsme in 29.28 after being crowded at the opening corner.

Hugely impressive when carding 29.27 (Diarmuid Coffey Unraced Stake final at Youghal) and 28.67 in his two previous starts, Show King can bounce back here.

Meanwhile Reagrove Boss, who created a favourable impression in the semis, can land the Knockna Kirka A5 Stakes final at Youghal.

In the wars when a beaten favourite in the heats, the selection survived another bumpy ride to land the odds in clear-cut fashion in 29.40 last week.

Reagrove Boss has scope for further improvement and can again overcome a trap three draw.
