Sandy snatches a justup decision in all-aged

FIONNTRA SANDY came from behind to snatch a just up decision in the final of the all-aged Ballyarthur Stakes at the Fermoy and Grange coursing meeting yesterday.

The winner was a 5/1 chance before coursing while the loser, Lakyle Matt, was the favourite in the final.

Overnight favourite Shaneboy Castle was a withdrawal from the Derby Trial Stake and in his absence King of Callura was made the 2-1 favourite.
