Coughlan, Wood on elite sport body

EAMON Coughlan and Keith Wood are amongst the high profile board members of the new Irish Institute of Sport under the executive chairmanship of Sean Kelly.

Sports Minister John O’Donoghue announced the appointments yesterday.

Said Mr O’Donoghue: “The board members will support Sean Kelly and his executive team in developing an Irish Institute of Sport dedicated to supporting Ireland’s elite athletes. They have a range of skills and experience which will be of enormous benefit to the institute.”
