Former bare-knuckle brawler Gunn vows to make mincemeat of Maccarinelli

FORMER bare-knuckle brawler Bobby Gunn has vowed to give cruiserweight king Enzo Maccarinelli the fight of his life when the pair clash at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on April 7.

American Gunn’s career includes an 11-year hiatus from 1993 to 2004 — during which time he made a name on the unlicensed circuit as a fighter of considerable repute.

Gunn’s trainer Joe Grier said: “At the time we made more money via the bare-knuckle route but now Bobby is a champion. We have prepared for this our entire lives.
