Keano scores for former Minister

FORMER Minister for Agriculture, Joe Walsh introduced a promising pup at Curraheen Park last evening in the shape of the Paul Hennessy trained Hello Keano, who ran out a facile winner of the second race.

The 1/3 favourite was slowly away and last into the opening turn. However, he moved into third behind Lady Saw Wood and Coonagh Vale early in the back straight and, having taken over at halfway, came clear for an impressive nine and a half length success over Coonagh Vale in 28.92.
