Paddy Power extend Derby sponsorship

IRELAND’S largest bookmaker, Paddy Power, yesterday announced its continued sponsorship of the Paddy Power Irish Greyhound Derby for a further three-year period.

The event has been sponsored by the Irish bookmaker since 2000.

The 2007 Paddy Power Irish Greyhound Derby will have a total prize fund of €305,000 and will take place as usual in Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium with the first round commencing on Wednesday, 1 August and the final scheduled for Saturday, 8 September 2007. The winner will receive €175,000 and trophy and the runner-up will receive €40,000.
