FLOYD LANDIS made his latest attempt to prove his innocence of doping charges in the court of public opinion yesterday, publishing on his website a detailed defence which included hundreds of pages of documents and a Powerpoint presentation.

The 30-year-old American, winner of the first Tour de France of the post-Lance Armstrong era, claims his positive test for excessive levels of testosterone after stage 17 of the race is flawed.

The test showed levels of testosterone 11 times higher than the average man but Landis has strenuously denied using any illegal performance-enhancing substances.
