Lane the value option in trappy decider

GRAB a piece of the 9-1 in Cashmans about Old Blarney Lane in the Macroom Motor Services Stakes final at Curraheen Park tonight.

Lane the value option in trappy decider

In a trappy decider, Kathleen Murphy’s fast improving sort looks the value option.

Old Blarney Lane’s record reads three wins from five starts, including a 28.58 success here in April.

The selection will probably need to step up another notch tonight but has plenty of scope and may be capable of doing so.

Dustin Fox is the class dog in the line-up, having won the 2005 National Puppy Stake and reached the third round of this year’s English Derby.

Keeley McGee’s runner has yet to sparkle in this stake, however, twice finishing a beaten favourite after a couple of tardy starts.

Dustin Fox, who runs from five, has shown a tendency to move in early on and this could pave the way for Old Blarney Lane on his outside.
