Jordan receive cash injection

Jordan have received a cash boost after agreeing a sponsorship deal with a Chinese property developer.

Jordan have cashed in on Chinese interest in Formula One ahead of the country’s first grand prix in Shanghai next month.

They will be sponsored by Shoulu-Huayuan at Shanghai, strengthening their links with China after logos for the Shanghai Circuit ran on Jordans last year.

Team boss Eddie Jordan said: “There is remarkable excitement building up towards the first Chinese Grand Prix and we are really pleased to be part of it. This partnership is our second Chinese sponsorship and further strengthens our links with the important Chinese business community.”
