Clonmel win in Castlelyons

Clonmel High School scored a brilliant 292 gross, 32 under par for the 36 holes event with the best four gross scores to count, to win the Munster Secondary School pitch and putt championship at Castlelyons yesterday.

The runners-up were Douglas Community School on 296 gross and Colaiste, Chraoibhin, Fermoy returned 303.

Eoin Fleming, Douglas Community School had the best individual gross score of 93 with a sparkling 15 under par for 36 holes.
