UCC host Intervarsities

University College Cork will host the annual Intervarsities Tournaments for the Mauritius and Chilean Cups this week and matches will be played at the Mardyke Arena and Ashton School over the course of the three-day event which gets under way today.

Ten men’s teams will contest this year’s Mauritius Cup competition and they have been divided into two groups of five with DCU, NUIG, QUB, UCC and UCD in Group A and UUJ, TCD, RCS, UL, and CIT in Group B.

Nine ladies teams will participate in the Chilean Cup with UCD, QUB, UL, DCU, and UUJ in Group A and UCC, NUIG, TCD and the RCS.
