Martina Gillen (Beaverstown) is hoping to arrive home from the US in time to defend her Lancome Irish Ladies’ Close Championship.

Martina is currently playing for Kent State University, in the Regional Qualifying Tournament for the NCAA National Finals and if they should finish in the top ten on Saturday and thus qualify for the National Finals, she will have to cancel plans to defend the title.
