Spirits high for Irish basketball team

Spirits are high in the Irish camp ahead of their final competitive match this year in the Women’s European Basketball Championship against Luxembourg at the ESB Arena this evening (7.30pm).

Following their comprehensive victory over Estonia on Wednesday night, former WNBA player Susan Moran and last year’s Irish Player of the Year, Michelle Aspell, lead the home challenge.

The Irish team are staying at the Citywest hotel, along with the Mayo football team.
