Montoya fastest in testing

Juan Pablo Montoya enjoyed a McLaren debut to remember when he set the fastest time in testing at Barcelona yesterday.

The Colombian, who moved from Williams at the end of last season, was easily the fastest driver on track yesterday, beating former team-mate Ralf Schumacher’s Toyota to top spot by almost half a second.

Red Bull Racing made their testing debut, with last year’s Jaguar driver Christian Klien clocking 100 laps for the new team on his way to a respectable fourth fastest.
