Irish hockey defeat

The Irish men’s senior hockey team ended their three-game series against India in Germany yesterday with a disappointing 6-2 defeat.

The loss means the Indians won the series 2-1.

Ireland had lost the first game on Sunday on a 2-1 scoreline, but then came from behind twice to beat the Indians 3-2 in Monday’s game.
