Cricket cup teams aim for quarter-final place

The second round of the Royal Liver Senior Cricket Cup will take place on Saturday, June 19, when the remaining 16 teams will bat it out for a place in the quarter-finals.

Cork County, the only Munster team in the competition, were beaten in the first round and the five remaining Leinster teams will be working hard for a Leinster win for the fourth year running.

The Royal Liver Irish Senior Cup is run in association with The Irish Cricket Union. There are three remaining rounds to the Cup final, which takes place on August 27.

Royal Liver Senior Cup 2nd Round Draw: Sion Mills v Strabane; Pembroke v Ardmore; Phoenix v Downpatrick; Clontarf v Bangor; Leinster v The Hills; North County v Instonians; Cliftonville v Limavady; Brigade v Lisburn.
