Why the change of jerseys for rebel two?

THE Cork hurlers who proudly represented the county in this year’s Munster SHC final underwent two noticeable changes between the taking of the official team photograph, and the commencement of the epic clash.

For the team photograph, John Gardiner and Alan Browne were pictured wearing Cork jerseys emblazoned with the words 'Guinness' and 'Munster Hurling Final 2003.'

Yet during the game, they clearly wore different jerseys significantly with the extra print marked absent.

I would be interested in the subtext if this.
