Jordan hopes Pantano result signals revival

EDDIE JORDAN expects a tough season ahead for his Formula One team – but the Irishman insists things are looking up.

The Silverstone-based team struggled in the season-opening Australian grand prix but Jordan was encouraged by Giorgio Pantano’s 14th place, which he hopes is the start of a revival for the former grand prix winners.

He said: “It was great for Giorgio to finish his first grand prix and it was in tough circumstances so well done to him.
