Hunter stages comeback

Hunter, the world number four, came from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Jimmy White, although having lost his first four matches he cannot finish in the top four and reach the semi-finals.

The 26-year-old underwent surgery last month after six cysts were discovered on his colon.

He revealed last week that cancer had been detected but he will compete in the forthcoming Embassy World Championship.
