Rowing club victorious at Henley

Ireland’s commercial Rowing Club set out to defend their Quadruple Sculls title at Henley Regatta yesterday, beating Tideway Scullers in the opening round, finishing two lengths clear in 7m23s.

But Visitors trophy-holders NUI Galway & Skibbereen lost their first round tie against their fellow Galway/Skibbereen side who took the coxless four head to head by two lengths in 7m30s.
